Ishaan Savla entered high school expecting his role as a student to be unimportant. His fear of feeling lost and lonely turned to prove him wrong as he realized the support from all the students led to a welcoming environment, which he admired.

Savla describes how his first month was a great experience, which many freshmen could relate to. He mentions how the support from his friends helped him get through, and to enjoy his time on campus. As freshmen class treasurer and a leadership student, Savla has a good amount of work on his plate. Though he would appreciate a decrease in the workload, he explains that the teacher's guidance and adequate teaching help him complete his work.

An aspect he enjoys about high school is the spirit that is brought up after football games.

Savla expresses that, “Football games are really representative of what the next four years are going to be like, at least for me. So that's had a really positive influence on my excitement of being at the school for the next four years.”

In Savla’s perspective, the first month of high school turned out to be a good one as he was able to recognize the respectable community the school created and the joy that was found from the football spirit.
